Answer: Introduction (Research Topic): In todays world, employee engagement in an organization is the approach to constitute relationship between an enterprise and its employees. It is evident that an organization that has escalated employee engagement outperforms the organizations that have less employee engagement (Menguc et al. 2013). Employee engagement can be assessed by level of involvement, commitment and productivity of the employees. It has been identified that employee engagement is necessary for business. In the modern world, economy is a big factor and to obtain financial goals a company has to motivate the employees to increase their productivity (Anitha 2014). In this context, the researcher analyses the importance of employee engagement and presents a literature review with the support of different theoretical interpretation. The researcher implements different techniques and frameworks to investigate the research procedure. The investigator furnishes the ethical checklist and Gantt chart in order to support the research. Literature review: As discussed by, employee engagement influences the factors like involvement, commitment and productivity. It has been identified that employee engagement depends on the organization, as employee engagement is prominent in places where there is job satisfaction. Welch (2015) that employee engagement plays a significant role in organization argues it. The organization that has higher employee engagement level has greater productivity level. Past researches have scrutinized the concept and have found that workforce with high performance level is necessary for survival and growth of an organization. As opined by Downey et al. 2015, in order to gain competitive advantage organization needs to establish metrics and applications to effectively quantify and enhance the impact of initiatives of their engagement on overall corporate performance. Past surveys has depicted that many companies are finding it challenging to scale employee engagement and its impression on the financial state of the company (Shuck and Reio 2014). According to Wang and Hsieh (2013), in a workplace people express themselves cognitively, physically and most importantly emotionally during the communicating. The employees try to connect themselves psychologically with their co-workers so that they can intensify their level of involvement. As per Shuck and Herd (2012), satisfaction engagement approach is the technique through which job satisfaction is achieved from high engagement level. As discussed by Kruse (2012), engaging people is becoming the most well known differentiator in corporate world. Different survey has provided benchmarks and tools to assist the employee parameter of engagement. Abraham (2012) has argued that the process of employee engagement does not provide detailed report on work related matters force the employees to increase their commitment. There are different ways to evaluate how people engage in organization. Research can be progressed through three phases. Awareness, connection, commitment and action are the three ways through which employee engagement can be analyzed. It has been seen that there are very limited survey about employee engagement (Shuck et al. 2016). There have been many arguments revolving employee engagement. However, researchers have provided data and perspective on the importance of employee engagement in organization. The researchers use various techniques in order to assess the feasibility of the cause. Many researchers have presented their views on this context but very few has been able to meet the desired result. This happened because employee engagement has come into focus most recently. Researchers have found that the organizations are adopting this culture in order to increase the performance capacity of the organization. Past research materials indicates that employee engagement has proved to be a beneficial tool for the institutions. In order to gain more knowledge about the topic the researcher is going to collect available data and evaluate it in order to provide insightful outcome on the topic. It is important understand that employee engagement increases the productivity of the organization. Jenkins and Delbridge 2013 argue that organization utilizes techniques in order to project more significance on employee engagement in an organization. The questions that to be asked before initiating the research is as follows: How employee engagement assists organizations towards success? What are the components that influence the relation between employees? Is training important to increase organizational performance? What are the positive and negative impacts that employee engagement has on an organizational environment? Why is employee engagement essential for an organization? What roles manager and corporate heads play in developing employee engagement in an organization? 4. Appropriate research methodologies and techniques to use for the research project Research methodology scrutinizes systematic and theoretical application of the methods in the field of study. Here researcher is using different techniques to gather data and information about employment engagement in the organization. It is the theoretical inspection of the set of methods and fundamentals related to a stretch of knowledge (Taylor, Bogdan and DeVault 2015). The research methodology thoroughly depends on the nature of the researcher. The researcher implements qualitative and quantitative researching tools to analyze the importance of employee engagement in an organization. As per Flick (2015), Primary research is conducted to collect the original data that are already present in the market. It is often seen that the researcher has gained some perspective into the matter by evaluating the secondary data. Secondary research is revitalizing of the existing data or presentation of summary or collation. There are various purpose that indicates the approach that researcher need to determine in order to conduct the research. The researcher is going to evaluate the topic with exploratory, constructive and empirical research. The explanatory research specifies developing and producing of innovative and better ideas so that it can support the purpose (Panneerselvam 2014). Constructive research is the kind of research that the technical professionals provide to seek solution to a persistent problem. Here the researcher can use exploratory research because it is the most effective way to evaluate the nature of the research. Most of the time researcher uses exploratory research method so that they can analyze the subject matter by using facts and information that already exists. Numerical analysis and data collection is the integral part of the research methodology. Empirical research can be very effective to assess the data that are associated with the real life (Billig and Waterman 2014). Observation is the significant part of this kind of research. In this case, researcher observes incidents and specific events related to the real life. Accumulation of primary and secondary data for the commencement the research is very essential. With the help of exploratory research, the researcher can collect primary and secondary data. Researcher can initiate their research in two ways- inductive and deductive. Through inductive approach, the researcher has to provide data based on strong evidence for the probable outcome. According to Gast and Ledford (2014), Inductive argument provides logical support to the research and supplies probable instances. Here the researcher chooses inductive research method that comprises of three steps observation, pattern and thesis. The researcher chooses inductive approach so that the researcher can first analyze, observe, then detect the pattern, and then develop effective theory on the general basis. According to Pickard (2012), researcher should thoroughly analyze the data and information, then understand the pattern, and finally provide overview on the research. Inductive research is the most successful research methodology because the hypothesis is structured on the current knowledge. Here the researcher selects inductive approach, as the researcher has to observe particular set of experiences that are already present and construct general set of theories. The objectives of the research, guide the researcher to develop the questions that is essential to execute the research efficaciously. Then in the third stage, the researcher prosecutes the literature review with the help of the theoretical characteristics. The researcher involves literature review and accentuates the crucial issues of employee engagement. In the fourth stage of the research, the researcher executes the data collection procedure. While accumulating data the researcher collects valid and relevant data on employee engagement (Buckley and Waring 2013). The researcher then gathers primary data from the first hand experience. Primary data is the statistics that the researcher accumulates specifically crafted for the requirement of the research. The researcher inspects the data after accumulating from various sources including the respondents and contributor. The researcher scrutinizes the data and information thoroughly. According to Anitha (2014), At the final stage of the researcher fulfills the research in a methodical and coherent manner. However, the conclusion of the research is fully dependent on the achievement of research goals and objectives. The aim of the research is to collect the data and efficiently analyze the factors and derive a fruitful consequence. Literature review 7) Description of data collection and analysis methods Data collection is the procedure through which both the primary and secondary data of the research is evaluated. Inaccurate collection of the data can influence the procedure of the study and ultimately lead the researcher to the invalid outcomes (Sabatier and Weible 2014). Data collection is the methodology through which measuring and analyzing of information takes place. The researcher always collects data in systematic fashion so that one can come up with relevant questions. Based on those questions the researcher evaluates the outcome of the research. As per Holloway and Wheeler (2013), formal collection of data is necessary because it helps the researcher gather data that are defined and meticulous. First, the researcher surveys the field and indulges the individual into interview. The researcher scrutinizes different group of people for collecting data on the topic of employee engagement. The researcher chooses qualitative and quantitative method to structure the data. They pro duce outcome that can be easily assessed. Qualitative and quantitative data are assessed in this stage. It plays a significant role in evaluating the information and data of different organization (Lewis 2015). Moreover, qualitative method is used to evaluate the existing process and supply results that serve innovative perspective to the people. Testing hypothesis extracted from the thesis is important. Participants in quantitative research are randomly allocated to various treatments. According to Shields et al. (2016), Quantitative data is the statistical manipulation that expresses a quantity and measurement of certain unit. The researcher involves respondent and participants structured on the probability sample technique. Probability sample technique assists the researcher to decrease discrimination from the research procedure. While analyzing quantitative data researcher observes various statistical values (Harris et al. 2015). Therefore, it can be discerned that the quantitative assessment will influence the investigator to conduct the research subject in potential manner. The researcher through this procedure asses the research area and evaluates the data. The investigator analyzes the data in effective manner by obtaining relevant information from administering surveys. In qualitative method, the procedures that are used to assess are in-depth interview procedure, observatory methods and document reviewing. The researcher in this stage scrutinizes both qualitative and quantitative research procedures so that he can gain proper research outcome. It is very important for the researcher to evaluate the data so that the research can gain feasibility. 8) Description of expected research outcome The research outcome indicates that there is lot information available on the research topic. The researcher uses exploratory research in interpreting the underlying rationale and opinions. The researcher has evaluated that employee engagement in an organization affects the productivity and performance level of the organization. The researcher through qualitative research has found out that needs satisfaction is the approach that the affects the employee engagement. The researcher has investigated that in modern day organization are aware of satisfaction of the employee and they are constan tly implementing new techniques to develop employee satisfaction. The researcher has assessed the data and has come up with the desired outcome. The researcher has been successful in assessing that poor employee engagement in an organization has influenced the performance of the organization. The impact of employee engagement in an organization is meticulously assessed through this research. The observation will largely help in executing the future projects. The research provides a overview on the market statistics about the research topic. With the effective involvement of respondent and participant, the researcher has been able to find out desired result of the research topic. It is evident from the outcome that the researcher has potently collected data on employee engagement and has provided an expected outcome. The level of employee engagement in different organization has been successfully assessed in this research. The researcher has been able to identify successfully the strengths and weaknesses of the research.
